WORDS

Listening to the loud noise of conversation taking us nowhere fast but to our destruction - what are words without action:

Lies create perplexity stealing from truth clarity

Opacity of words
creating mind sludge
traveling down roads
thick with incapacity,
awareness pontificated
nevertheless misunderstood
alienated by connotations
lost in tone;
words molding character
passed on
from generations
by the storytellers
of a tribe encouraging
imagination;
dependent on the two-way
interaction
of listening and
verbalization, equally
as important to
that which we seek,
simple understanding


NOTE:  I used to think the greatest form of flattery was imitation
                       now I know it is 'listening'
