Written on the Apple TreeReading this short story, I became disappointed when it ended. Is reincarnation real in this realm we live in? And if so are we destined to repeat, time and again, the mistakes we made in past lifetimes.
Or is reincarnation intended to help us move past the mistakes of our past lives giving us the opportunity to change, make different choices? Does love last through generations, clinging to the spirit of humanity?
Is the desire for vengeance so strong as to allow the spirit of those who seek revenge to return to somehow infect and disrupt the life of those who are part of you, even generations after the fact?
These are the questions swirling through my mind after finishing this story and on some levels I am inclined to believe in the act of reincarnation actually taking place sometimes.
At any rate it gives you something to think about as you travel this road of life, keeping in mind that somewhere down the line, those you leave behind may be effected by your evil deeds or corruption.
